Eligibility for Course

In-service young social science faculty preferably Lecturers/ Assistant Professors/ Librarians/ Assistant Librarian/Deputy Librarians in a UGC-recognized Indian university/deemed university/College/institutes of national importance and ICSSR Research Institutes and their application should be duly
forwarded by the parent institution

Major Components Covered

CBM training includes session talks by eminent experts from academia and industries.
 Traditional Research Methodology
 Indigenous Research Methodology
 Publishing skills development.
 Other components are : Demonstration and Hands-on Training
Reference Management Systems and Software
Statistical Analysis Tools/ Software (LaTex/R/MATLAB etc)
Selection of research topic / publication topic through various databases
Plagirisum Checking Softwares
Ethics in Research
Copyright/IP/Open Access etc
Session on NAAC Acreditation Process-Faculty Roles etc.

Intake Capacity :
There should be at least thirty (30) participants from social science disciplines of which ten (10) must be from the city, ten (10) from the state and ten (10) from outside the state.
